Associate Professor of Human-Computer Interaction and Decision Support Systems, University of Milano-Bicocca.
He teaches information systems, interaction design, and decision support. He directs the Laboratory for Models of Uncertainty, Decisions, and Interactions, and coordinates the local node of the national laboratory “Informatics and Society” of the CINI. His research interests focus on the impact of artificial intelligence, decision support systems, and human-machine collaboration, with numerous scientific publications and outreach activities on the ethical and organizational implications of AI.
With generative AI, the relationship shifts: from tool to interlocutor. Five interaction protocols – exploratory, verificatory, delegative, interrogative, and dialogic – help make practices and responsibilities explicit. In organizations, this calls for transparency, a shared culture, and generative leadership.
